Experience focus

Pet owners and service providers

01 / Context

Pet care involves
many small decisions.

Finding a veterinarian, discovering pet-friendly places, organizing health information and choosing whom to trust. Scoobi brings these needs together in an experience that starts with owners and their pets, connecting them with a network of services.

The challenge was to connect discovery and trust: make services easy to find and provide useful information for evaluating options, while keeping care and the social side of the pet community in view.

How can pet owners get closer to the services they need, with more context to choose and a more practical way to care?
01

Find

Nearby services and places.

02

Choose

Information and reviews.

03

Care

Pet profiles and community connections.

02 / Discovery

Start with pain points.
Turn them into opportunities.

Immersion in the pet world included research with users and service providers to understand needs and pain points. Mapping connected these difficulties to product opportunities and helped shape the flows and screens.

A crop from the original mapping: owner pain points and Scoobi opportunities.

03 / Architecture

A network of services.
A structure to navigate it.

Before detailing the interface, the project organized the path through entry, registration, onboarding, pet profiles and service discovery. The flow distinguishes pet owners from providers and offers a more direct entry for returning users.

Project scope: research and interviews, mapping, product definition, flows and UI.

Different entry points.
Shared context.

In the documented flow, Home acts as a service storefront. First-time use collects pet context; returning users go to the main experience. This structure connects initial setup with everyday use.

Original userflow: entry, user types, onboarding and access to Home.

04 / Prototypes

Test the structure.
Then refine the interface.

Low- and medium-fidelity prototypes were used in user tests to gather feedback. The material documents the move to high fidelity after testing and improvements.

01

Structure

Flows and early screens to explore navigation.

02

Listen

User tests to gather feedback.

03

Refine

Improvements before visual detailing.

Medium-fidelity prototypes used to gather user feedback.
High-fidelity evolution: entry, pet profiles, services, maps and booking.

05 / Experience

The experience starts with a pet.
And opens to a community.

01 / Home

What does your pet need today?

Home recognizes the pet by name and organizes services into visual categories: veterinarians, dog walkers, pet sitters, boarding, adoption and other needs. The opening question gives discovery context.

EXPERIENCE DECISION
Home

02 / Professional

Information for a more confident choice.

The profile combines a professional introduction, ratings, calendar, location and comments. The aim is to connect discovery and decision by offering context before booking.

03 / Map & alert

Proximity can be care, too.

The map connects exploration of pet-friendly places with practical information. A lost-pet alert uses the same location context to invite community help.

04 / Social space

Helping needs a clear path.

Nearby NGOs, adoption and donations have their own area. The app extends beyond services to include ways to participate in the pet community.

06 / Synthesis

From understanding the problem
to a product with identity.

The project brings together naming and brand definition, research, navigation structure and mobile interfaces. The presentation shows mapped pain points becoming concrete features: reviews, location, pet organization and a social area.

Trust and convenience need to work together.

Finding a service is only the start. The experience also needs to support choices, organize care and welcome people back when a new need appears. In Scoobi, these threads share one context: the relationship between owners and pets.
